Stichting Individuele Verzekeringsaanspraken Sjoa (Shoah Foundation for Individual Insurance Claims) provides payments to rightful claimants of life insurance policies held by individuals who were persecuted as Jews in the Netherlands during the Second World War.
On this website, you will find a list of approximately 2,500 insured individuals whose life insurance policies may not have been paid to their beneficiaries.
Do you believe you may be one of the heirs of a listed person? You can submit a request for research here. We will review the available records to determine whether a policy remains unpaid and whether you may be entitled to a payment.
Stichting Sjoa was established in 1999 by Verbond van Verzekeraars (Dutch Association of Insurers) and Centraal Joods Overleg (Central Jewish Conference). We review policies taken out with (the predecessors of) Dutch insurers that are members of Verbond van Verzekeraars.
